One of my go to's for sushi in Utah! When my friends and I get sushi at other restaurants, it usually comes out to about $20 per person for 2 rolls or so, and for $20 here, you can get endless sushi without compromising quality (most of the time). Some of my favorites from their endless menu are the blossom crunch roll and the nigiris (salmon, simply tuna, upside down shrimp, and yellowtail). There were a few times where their yellowtail was fishy so I stayed away from that for a while and toward the end of your meal, for some reason, the rice becomes more and more dense. Could be on purpose but who knows. Not a big deal.

Came in here with a large group and it worked out well. The food came out in a decent amount of time which is understandable given how large our group was. We all did the unlimited sushi. Unlimited sushi is generally a red flag for crappy fish but I was pleasantly surprised. It was good, the fish was of good quality, the bastardized sushi wasn't too bastardized, all in all it was good. Compared to a high end place like Takashi in Utah, I felt the fish wasn't as good but within striking range. 2 stars for the food, it was good for being both unlimited sushi as well as Utah sushi 1 star for the seating, plenty of space, large dining area, ample seating 1 star for the price, $24ish was very reasonable for all you can eat sushi If you're a big eater, sushi lover, this place is worthy of a trip.

A buffet buddy and I swore to never step foot inside a Simply Sushi again, yet last weekend we did just that at their new location. The AYCE sushi craving was strong and we couldn't resist. They were very busy that day and the space was packed. The first two rolls that came out showed a lot of promise of redemption. The rice to filling ratio was really nice, and the flavors were pretty good. The second round took longer than the first. The 3rd took even longer and they missed some orders. The rice on the rolls also increased. Despite the increasing rice on the sushi rolls, the items were pretty good (i like the upside down shrimp) and the service was ok too.

Have been here two times and both times I left ridiculously full and satisfied. Love the spicy upside down shrimp. Simply tuna, yellowtail, and salmon nigiri are all delicious and must-haves if you go. The salmon literally melts in your mouth. Godzilla tempura, yard sale, and fire cracker rolls are some of my favorites. My only complaint- sometimes there is a little tooooo much rice on the rolls. Takes away from the deliciousness of the fish. Can't wait to go back again and experience yet another sushi coma.

This place is great because they have unlimited sushi. But their rice proportions are huge and they demand that you actually eat the rice and then they'll bring you more. If you just want to be a fatass and gorge, this will do. But if you're going to be sushi connoisseur and want quality, stay away

Haven't been here in like 6 months. We got there 5 minutes after they were opened. They filled up quickly and were down a chef. So only 2 sushi chefs for the whole place. We were promptly seated at the bar. We waited a good 25 minutes or so until they were ready to take our order. The sushi chef was preparing an order for a large table. They brought us out some Miso soup that was quite delicious. I ordered the Simply Sushi Long Roll (which had Crystal Shrimp, Cooked Scallops, Crab & Sweet Sauce). It was pretty decent. Then I ordered the Lotus Long Roll star (Snapper, Red Pepper, Cusabi Sauce & Crunchy Onions). That sauce tasted like pure mayo and didn't help that one out much. Also had the Colorado Roll star (Tuna, Crab, Avocado & White Sauce) wasn't too shabby. I was very impressed with the Yellowtail / Hamachi though. Big thick cut slices on my rice. I should have taken some pictures. The Salmon / Sake wasn't so great but the Hamachi made up for it in every way. If it wasn't for the long wait to get fed I would have given this place 4 stars. Pleasantly surprised how much better this place has gotten since I first went in. Great service, always checking up on us making sure our waters were full and removing unused plates. Will definitely come back for more.

This seems to be the only decent all-you-can-eat sushi place in Utah. It's always hard to find good sushi for the price in Utah, but Simply Sushi decently does the job. It is definitely not great sushi, but considering that it's unlimited and it's in Utah, it'll do. If you do not mind not getting deluxe rolls, I recommend going for lunch (before 4PM) because it's "only" $16 and you can still get nigiri, hand rolls, and long rolls. The restaurant is large enough to accommodate a big group, which is a plus. Whenever I go, I like to get nigiri and few long/deluxe rolls to share.

For the only all-you-can-eat (AYCE) sushi restaurant in Salt Lake city, this does the job. The service is quick and nice. The fish is decent. I got a few orders of hamachi and it melted in my mouth which is exactly how it should be. No Unagi, terribly disappointed at that. The rice was no good. We ordered the simply sushi roll and the rice tasted like they made it yesterday and put it in the fridge overnight. It was too cold and hard to the point my teeth were almost hurting. The other rolls were okay. Nothing really stood out to be notable besides the hamachi nigiri. Same rice was used except in the Nigiri; it was as if they thawed it out a few minutes to be less obvious on your teeth when chewing. 3 stars for me. I wasn't expecting a lot but at least their chefs weren't white, which is a good indication that its probably better than other places as far as food standards go.

The downward trend has probably started. The good sushi chefs are gone. And the man at the cash register gives off a creepy vibe. When sitting at the bar the employees have no respect for personal space and stand behind you the whole time you're eating. I'll give this place another shot but if they drop again I'm done.

Horrible. Simply awful! We arrived at 8:25pm. The Manager told us they were Closed and turned off the sign. ( Google hours stated closed at 9pm) Then told us we couldn't sit at a table, he wanted to be home early tonight because it was slow all day. Then told us we had to buy the "all you can eat" if any of us were dining! We come here at least 3 times a month or more. NEVER AGAIN WILL I SPEND MY MONEY AT SIMPLY SUSHI. I work for a restaurant, that is not the service you expect when your spending you hard earned money.

I moved here from California about a year ago and have been looking for a go-to sushi spot ... After trying about 6-8 this has been the best one ... Price and flavor I am very picky when it comes to raw fish due to its freshness and here in Utah is almost impossible to find fresh fish ... However this guys have done it Thank you and thanks to Ben the sushi bar guy for taking care of me and my 12 sushi rolls

For $15.95 during the lunch hour, this place offers sushi buffet from their menu. It's pretty decent is you're looking to explore the thought of trying sushi for the first time and lots of veggie rolls. My personal favorites are the Spicy Upside Down Shrimp and the Simply Tuna nigiris. For dinner, they still offer the buffet but this includes the back of the menu for $22.95. There's a bigger selection but choose wisely. Most of the rolls are long rolls and if you happen to not like it, you must find room in your tummy or a place to hide it on your plate because they will charge you for wasting food. I used to come here all the time for Edgar because he'd always take care of me. But now that he doesn't work here, the new guys are alright. It is pretty dead here for the lunch hour and I'm sitting at the bar waiting for my rolls/sushi concoctions. Maybe it's time to find a new sushi place...

They use the same two sauces one EVERY piece of sushi which covers up any distinction between flavors. Irish roll was interesting but other than that a very "meh" assortment.

I love this restaurant. I was never much of a sushi fan, came here and I love it! I still don't eat the raw fish stuff, but they are amazing, and have an all you can eat option. We don't eat enough to get the all you can eat, but 3 rolls does the 2 of us just fine :) LOVE the baja, San Francisco, and the Coconut. SO WONDERFUL! Sat at the bar last time and the rolls were fast and the cooked stuff was warm! Awesome service! Just know, if you do the all you can eat and don't think you have eaten enough to justify the all you can eat, let the server know to keep track of the rolls so you can pay ala carte. Or if you plan on ala carte, and eat way more than the all you can eat price, they can change that too! But, be upfront about not knowing if you will eat enough so they will keep track or they won't be happy trying to figure it out for you. And don't forget to tip :)

They get 4 stars because: They have a huge selection. Creative rolls. Nice & Fast service. willing to do dinner rolls during lunch time, as long as we pay for the dinner instead of the lunch buffet. One to try for sure is their seared tuna, upside down shrimp, and the mountain roll, among others.

I came in here expecting cheaply prepared Sysco crap, but I am actually pleased with what I ordered. I am a vegetarian, so I started myself off with the veggie rolls. I personally hate seaweed, so I asked for soy paper instead. The reason this isn't a five star review is because SOY PAPER IS EXTRA. Really? I have never seen another sushi place do that, but it's not like I can refuse to pay it. My cheapness aside, all of the veggie rolls on the menu are absolute perfection, and I will someday bathe in their sweet sauce.

Sushi was pretty good, service was BAD. Waitress was grouchy and we had to ask multiple times for refills.

The lunch isn't as good as the dinner but it's okay in a pinch. The waiter didn't know much about sushi I think she just started, and it took a while to get our stuff, and there wasn't much variety, and the best rolls were on the dinner menu. We tried to order just the dinner menu but they said no we had to order each roll separately which was lame because they're like 10 bucks a piece. We'll only do the dinner when we're in town for sure.

I came in here for the first time recently for a birthday. They were really accommodating with our party size and the service was great. With a party size of around 12, they really had a handle of our orders and got them out to us very quickly and correct. We all did the all you can eat sushi and we left waaaay too full. The sushi was pretty good actually. The nigiri was the highpoint for me. Salmon, hamachi, and the crazy tuna were all delicious. The tuna alone was pretty good, but not the best quality tuna I have seen in the valley. The rolls were all decent, but the all seemed pretty similar. Most were covered with some kind of sauce, the name escapes me, that was similar to a teriyaki. I thought that the rolls had too much rice on them and sometimes drowned out the flavor of the fish, but some of the rolls were just great. I really enjoyed the Scallop Volcano and the Park City. The Park City was really different in that it had sliced lemon on top and that really added a unique flavor to the roll. The Volcano was good, but I would have really liked it if the scallop mix that was on top was warm. We also had some sake, the Momokawa Ruby and it was pretty good for an inexpensive sake, One gripe that I had was that the menu claimed to have an extensive sake collection...which came out to about 6. That didnt seem very extensive to me, but maybe I missed something. All in all, it was a nice experience and I'll be coming back

I'm a regular and go here very so often. I usually go to the chef named Danny, and he has always exceeded my expectations every single time I go. He always does something with a twist to my orders, wether it's adding more crab, avocado, or sauce to it, though he does this to my orders because he knows what I like. If you're new, he will make it the way it is intended to, until he gets familiar with you. He's always quick, but very precise with my orders, and is always asking what's next for me. The service here is very good and the food is amazing. I always recommend new sushi explorers to come try it here, as the all you can eat is the best deal in town.

I really struggled with this one, bouncing back and forth between two and three stars. So, please consider this a 2.5 star review...remember that two stars is not BAD, it's just not good. But, when considering raw fish, there's almost nothing worse than "meh." (After all, if sushi is truly bad, you only eat one piece, right?) Simply Sushi is big-box, all you can eat, mass produced sushi. It's made without love or chi or whatever else those amazing sushi masters elsewhere use to create their magic. You pay roughly $20 and get as much mediocre sushi as you want. Their ingredients come from Sysco. Again, not a bad thing, just not the sourcing you'd hope for from a joint serving sushi. There are a couple of caveats with their AYCE deal however...like, you have to eat everything you order. I tried to leave a couple pieces of a roll I didn't love on the plate. Before we ordered more our waitress told us she would have to charge us separately (aka full price) for anything on the deal that we don't eat. Seriously. And if there's someone in your party who hasn't ordered the AYCE deal, they are in big trouble if they snag a piece off a AYCE platter. They will Lay. The. Smack. Down. And charge you exorbitantly for it. We've been back a couple more times with friends of ours who love this place. They prefer saving money to eating decent sushi. I don't care how you slice it, you can't have it both ways. Simply Sushi serves up pretty much well-presented grocery store sushi. (But Whole Foods, not Walmart...if Walmart offers sushi. Please God, tell me they don't.) For me, there are no *must try* or *don't miss* rolls on the SS menu, unfortunately. I've never had a roll that I couldn't stomach, but I've also never had a roll that made me remember the name or want more. We haven't tried any non-sushi food at SS, but have heard comments from friends who have. Apparently the teriyaki chicken is acceptable to teenagers. His actual comment was, "Yeah it's good. It tastes like Wanchai Ferry." So, they've got that going for them. Which is nice. You can order sushi a la carte and pay full price, for those not interested in the AYCE deal. Also, the alcohol choices at SS are beyond lame. Beer selections are Bud or Miller; $4 a glass wine selections include "chardonnay, zin, or cabernet." Caveat Emptor rules here. Know what you're getting ahead of time, so your expectations match. If you're desperate for sushi, only have 20 bucks, and quality isn't your #1 priority, this is your place. Belly up, order a frosty MGD, and watch the party ignite.

Looking at the review trend of this place, it looks like they managed to clean themselves up since the bad raves from 2011. They have a decent size place, a few large parties can fit in this place, and 1-2 parties can sit at the bar area. They are in the same strip mall complex with a Smith's. The AYCE option is obvious the way to go, price stays relatively the same as other AYCE sushi joint in town at 22.95 per person for dinner. If you are looking for the best bang for the buck, Hand Rolls are the way to go here. I am usually a tuna person, but their Spicy Salmon Hand Roll was spicier than the tuna one, which I found that one better. Rainbow Hand Roll was another favorite, the whole thing pretty much stuffed with fish. Their Nigiri was good for AYCE quality, although fish was a thin slice compare to regular sushi joints, they do not force you to eat a large rice ball with it, as the rice also reduced proportionally with the fish. Some of the favorites were Tuna, Yellowtail, and Upside Down Shrimp. The long rolls were not too impressive, I only found myself enjoying the Fire Cracker Roll and Scallop Volcano Roll. Miso was a bit skimpy with just tofu and miso, did not find any kombu in it. The service was good though, the chef made us a few off menu rolls, and all of them were excellent. I am not sure if they had done similar changes to the downtown location as well, but this particular location Simply Sushi just became my favorite AYCE sushi joint in the Salt Lake area. Great place to hang out with friends and stuff your faces full of sushi.

I walked in and it was really crowded and busy so it's probably good place I do you actually get to try the sushi but I will have to go there again another time so for my review and give them four stars and it took a while for them to even try to get a seated so long that we didn't bother they're just really busy so far but a good place talk to you next time Tim

I freaking love this place. The haters can hate. I mean you are in Utah and the Sushi that gets here somehow is not going to be fresh no matter what 5 star restaurant you go to. You go here for the food, cheap all you can eat sushi (not at all bad) and the customer service. We have never had a bad day at Simply Sushi, it has always been fun and we will keep coming back as long as I am living in the valley. The best rolls would have to be Blossom Crunch, Coconut Shrimp, Fire Cracker, Godzilla, and the Yard sale. I also suggest ordering Nigri here especially the Spicy Upside Down Shrimp which is quite delicious.

It's been several months since my last visit. A few new items on the menu and newer faces to the employees and the sushi is still great. I had a good meal and received good service despite the friday evening rush. I still stand by my 4 stars and really enjoy this place.

We went to this joint for the simple fact that they are all you can eat- My husband prefers this... We were first timers and even though other places had more reputable reviews I still wanted to give it a fair shot. I have to say, it wasn't bad at all. We actually really loved our Mexican sushi chef Freddy-(I'll admit I had my reservations) ;). He did an amazing job creating some yummy bites for us. I told him I was craving spicy so he made me several spicy rolls. The Nigiri was just plain good. He dressed them up awesome with spicy sauce and even thinly sliced lemon wedges (Who knew that would taste so good??). The salmon and the ahi tuna Nigiri were my fave. I liked that there was lots of bar seating. Sometimes when you go to a sushi joint the seating at the bar is scarce. It was a laid back atmosphere. The service was great all around. While I want to be try more places in the area just to try them, we will be back just because we had a great experience... and it is all you can eat. And I will be requesting Freddy!

It had been close to 5 years since I last ate at Simply Sushi, I honestly don't even know why I had suggested it for dinner that night. I was just awfully hungry and we were on a budget so I said why not!? We got the all you could eat selection which came with edamame and miso soup. The edamame came out cold, hardly had any salt, and was soggy. The miso (now this is the worst part of it all), I've never been to a sushi place where they could possibly mess up on miso, but seriously? It was lacking in flavor and it didn't even have seaweed! Are you kidding me? The sushi itself was ok, the flavor was decent, but the last roll we ordered, there was 90% rice and 10% fish; that is unacceptable, and I don't even know why you did that. It seems to me you were trying to make it so that we would not be able to finish and would have to have paid ale la carte for the last roll. OH YES if you didn't already know, any leftover sushi not finished would be boxed up and charged differently. I can understand if it was a significant amount but I doubt they have that type of head on their shoulder. I will not be going back, 5 years or however long they are open.

It's Utah so I don't have much expectations for any sushi place but I suggested simply sushi since we were craving some sushi and miso soup and I've heard some good things about this place. There wasn't a single Japanese cook in the place and the sushi was not good in general, but to be fair you can't expect much from an all you can eat sushi place. Customer service is excellent I give them that. Anyways I ordered some spicy ahi rolls and the sauce was overly spicy as if I was eating tuna with sriracha sauce and the tuna tasted kind of old. Other rolls like the mango one and the avocado one were tasteless, all I could taste was the rice. Miso soup had no sea weed and it tasted no better than the instant miso kind you get at the store. Its a place just to get full for no reason. We did not enjoy it at all. He reason I am giving them three stars is because of their excellent customer service.

Simply Sushi was interesting. It felt like we waited quite a bit to be seated despite the restaurant being fairly empty...not okay. I already wanted to walk out, but AYCE at lunch for $15.95 is quite a deal, so we stayed. When we were finally seated at the bar, our server kind of just disappeared on us. When he came back, we got to order drinks and he grabbed those and I had to ask for straws. Really? That should be just given. After that, we were left with our sushi chef. I've never had a Mexican sushi chef. See...this would make one iffy, but Pedro was definitely the star of the restaurant. The Simply Sushi hand roll was probably my favourite! He made them perfectly! All out servings had more fish than rice and tasted fresh. If it weren't for that, I'd probably give a worse rating. Service was not up to par.

They have a "policy" that if you are less than 4, you have to eat at the Sushi bar, where the chairs are high and very uncomfortable Half of the tables were empty, and the hostess said "oh, it will get busy". While we were there, 1/3 of the tables remained unseated. Seriously. In addition, some of the rolls I felt like it had mashed up fish and called it "tuna". Horrible. My husband had a teriyaki dinner, very small, over priced. I would not eat here again. Ever.

Cheap and good sushi. Cant miss that. It is interesting that they put Mango in sushi. It makes taste refreshing. Try Crazy California Roll for something cheap and delicious. The Sushi chefs and the servers are very friendly and like to crack couple jokes with you

I should give this place a 1 star but overall the food was great. The sushi was outstanding and there was never a long time waiting on it. Now when it comes to the service it was a different story. She started out good but when she got more than one table we were completely ignored. I never got one refill on my drink. No, not one. Then I had to get up and hunt down someone to give me a to go box for my kids meal. I like the sushi so ill still probably go again. It is the only good sushi that is some what close to my house. My hands are tied.

Good sushi. A little pricey. Can get very busy. My wife and I have always had to sit at the bar here but that way you get your sushi faster. The All You Can Eat seems like a good deal till they tell you they will charge you more for not finishing and if you want another roll you must first finish the last one. This always lends us to WAY over eat. Which is never good.

I love sushi and I was very excited to find a All-You-Can-Eat Sushi place while I was on a little trip to Utah. I went there with my husband who also loves sushi and since it wasn't too busy we just sat at the bar and was able to watch the chief make our sushi. However...the sushi was just...was plain bad. The chief looked bored and annoyed that we were ordering so much (its an all you can eat, what you do expect?) and couldn't even crack a smile at us. The waitress was very...um..invisible. She was not lively, not fun or anything at all. She did somewhat attend to us and when she gave us our check, I didn't even realize it was ours since she just slipped it there without saying anything. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The sushi was plain, there wasn't much things in it (at most like 3 items ex: tuna, cream cheese and rice), the unagi nigiri was decent but didn't like the fact that he microwaved it in front of us...or the fact that it was mostly just the sauce that tasted good, not the meat. I'm honestly surprised at how some people said this was amazing, it makes me wonder if they've been to other sushi places....

My friend ordered the "Simply Sushi handroll" and she said that it was good. I ordered sushi that arrived covered in "sweet sauce" that looked almost pornographic and either way unappetizing. The menu is extremely limited. Not worth the visit.

I really wanted to like this place...the waiter was terrible, order wasn't complete, the waiter (while quite friendly and entertaining) was inattentive... the food was just not good...The fish here is not the freshest I've had..Just terrible, terrible I say with a frown. I sincerely hope the owner of Simply sushi reads these reviews, as they are wonderful tools help him/her improve business and bring awareness to the way their employees representing the company.

I think I set my expectations too high for this place. I'm not exactly a Sushi Snob and was looking for a little variety of sushi for a good price. The price I got, the variety I did not. I gave it two stars because it IS a buffet and expectations should be lowered due to that fact. I was dining alone and was sat at one of the bars by myself. The other bar had openings and it felt a bit awkward being sat by myself. I DID shower that morning and didn't exactly have the Creeper thing going on so I wasn't sure why the segregation. Especially since there wasn't even a chef at the station where I was sat. After getting over the loneliness, I checked out the lunch menu. The selection of fish wasn't impressive but I can work within the parameters of a few kinds of fish. The good: I liked the Mango Tango roll. Very original and added a flair to the menu. The price was reasonable but high for the quality of sushi. The bad: Crab with a "K." Didn't find anything in my order with real crab in it. Limited selection of raw fish in the rolls. No Spider Roll. LOVE me some Spider roll. The rice had the consistency of Uncle Ben's. The ugly: Worst Unagi I have ever had. Cold, fatty, and tasted like it died of old age. Tuna was not fresh. I looked for the "Starkist" label on the Maguro. I don't think I'll be going back any time soon. Not for the lack of freshness (everybody has a bad day) but for the lack of selection. I'd pay a few extra bucks for some sushi with actual fish in it.

We have a generally good experience everytime we go here. It's not the greatest sushi in town, but it's a good value for the price, and satisfies the craving without spending 100+ dollars for two people. Service is decent, chef's have always been friendly.

I saw both good and bad ratings for this place but we got one of those KSL Deals where we paid $25 for $50 worth of food. FYI if you've got one of these deals alcohol is NOT included. They make you pay that separate and then take the rest of the money and apply it to your food. So if you're set on getting your FULL money's worth order some extra a la carte items, dessert or get a couple other drinks. Anyway, overall this place is decent. Nothing fancy and nothing spectacular but like some other reviewers have said great = expensive. The all you can eat option they have is just over $20 a person and between the four of us that went we had 11 rolls. It would have definitely cost us a lot more if we ordered regular priced stuff somewhere else. Plus two of us got miso soup and I ordered some edamame. The rolls are ok. I think it depends on who's making them. Our first round of stuff had a couple of really great items and then we re-ordered one of them and it was not as good as the first time. Who knows why. The Rainbow Roll we got was really good though. Light and TONS of fish on top. The presentation was a little sloppy but it tasted great. Not at all chewy or funky like some Rainbow Rolls can be. They did have this one thing that was supposed to be like a cream cheese rangoon but it had dill in it which to me was really strange for a sushi place. Not a flavor I would put into something like that and because it was deep fried the salmon, cream cheese and dill combination turned out just a little funky for me. If you like those flavors you'll probably love it but for me it was a little odd. My husband liked it though and he usually hates the cream cheese rangoons. So it's up to you to try. If you're doing the all you can eat it's probably worth a shot. The one thing that totally rocked about the place was the fact they were playing old American Gladiators episodes on the tv's. Nothing like good friends, decent food and a good laugh over the awesome hair folks were sporting back then. Overall it was rather busy so people must like it. It wasn't bad and was affordable. If you're just looking to get your sushi fix in and don't want to spend a ton it's probably a good place to try. If you're looking for something more quiet or high end, well you're going to have to spend a lot more. This place was casual too so don't feel you have to get dolled up. I saw one kid there eating a box of Cheese-Its instead of food.

Great sushi value. All-you-can-eat lunch $15 and Dinner $21(includes soup, edamame etc). If you're like me, your normal sushi bill is over $20 so this place rocks. If your visiting Salt Lake City for a couple of months like me it's right next door to a nice laundromat.

Updating my review - having been back a few times, I'm more impressed with the sushi here than I was a few months ago. If you sit at the sushi bar doing the endless lunch, ask for Roy's special (if he's there) and he'll set you up with very tasty nigiri. Be sure and order the salmon with lemon nigiri. Some of the rolls have too much sauce poured over them, but you can scrape off the excess. Downside: they don't offer any eel, which is my favorite.

I was extremely hesitant to try this place. The reviews, overall, are pretty bad. And then there was the debacle several months ago where a whole crop of bogus 5-star reviews were being posted on Yelp which were clearly written by their employees. However, my girlfriend absolutely adores this place (she was previously the duchess) so I decided to give it a try. And you know what, it wasn't that bad! Our waiter, Richard, seemed kind of out of place working in a sushi restaurant. I got the whole outlaw biker vibe from him. Which I thought in many ways was pretty awesome. And he was a great waiter! He was friendly, attentive, and when a mistake was made on one of our rolls, he took ownership for the error and corrected it immediately. When we checked out the guy who rung us up, who I think was the manager, was extremely pleasant and chatty as well. The restaurant itself is tastefully decorated and clean. It's spacious for a strip mall restaurant. Although I do wish they had booths - unfortunately only tables here. They have several flat screens hung throughout which, while we were there, were playing humorous Japanese game shows. One warning, get there early this place gets CROWDED. I'm not sure why Simply Sushi would even give a sh_t about padding their Yelp rating with bogus reviews, as busy as they were on a Wednesday night, I am sure they are not having any trouble keeping the lights on. The food wasn't bad, in fact I would dare say it was GOOD. Was it great? No. Takashi is great. Sapa is great. But GREAT also costs 3-4 times as much. And sometimes I want my sushi cheap and fast. So I will say, with confidence, Simply Sushi is most definitely good. A lot of reviewers compare it to grocery store sushi. I feel that is an extremely harsh criticism. I've bought grocery store sushi, in moments of sushi-junkie desperation, and it's TERRIBLE. Simply Sushi is NOT grocery store sushi. And the selection and variety of rolls and nigiri available surprised me. I would definitely say the sushi and sashimi is on par with other cheap and fast sushi restaurants, most notably Red Ginger Bistro (which I refuse to go to anymore because their service is GOD AWFUL). Perhaps we came on a good night, but my Nigiri tasted fresh enough. (we ordered the tuna, octopus, crab, and spicy shrimp) . The all you can eat dinner special also includes several "designer" rolls to choose from. The Playboy roll tasted as a Playboy roll should. The dinner/lunch all you can eat specials also include edamame and miso soup. Both of which tasted the way they should. We will definitely be back. I enjoyed it profusely. The food is good, the price is right, and the people and service, at least for us, was super. Plus it's close to the house which is an added bonus - we will ride our bikes next time!

I have gone a couple of times and I enjoy it. Its not the best sushi i have had but it was good and its all you can eat. I can't say anything about the waiters because I always sit at the counter. I always recommend sitting at the counters when eating at sushi places because you can skip the middle man and always order directly at the cook. I really enjoy the tempura sushi. I recommend it. Its good sushi for a good price. The thing to remember about sushi, it really does matter on who makes it.

I use to go all the time for lunch. However the all you can eat lunch menu has shrunk and the price went up. It's not the price that bothers me but the menu. Bring back unagi on the lunch all you can eat menu and I'll come back.

All you can eat sushi. That's a lot of sushi. The sushi is mediocre at best. The rice was kind of weird, which is odd for a sushi place. I think they had made it in the morning and it was just dried out from being there all day. When we went it was very cold and the whole front of the restaurant is a giant glass wall. Whenever the door opened we absolutely froze to death. Everyone around had similar experiences and was tightly bundled in their coats to keep warm. This place is all about maximum profitability. The ingredients are all lower grade with nothing really creating a wow factor or any pizazz. That makes the food unremarkable. This place is rated highly because you can get tons of sushi for not very much money, and that's okay. If you have a horde to feed, then this is your place. As for me, I prefer higher quality and more innovative sushi. I can't bring myself to give this place three stars.

I have kinda unsure about this place because of the previous reviews, but what a surprise! We sat at the bar right in front of the person making the rolls and it was great. One after another he recommended what rolls he liked and what he thinks we might like. I couldn't have asked for a better meal or experience. We just moved to Utah and this will for sure be a monthly staple for us :)

Used to love getting sushi here. Unfortunately the quality has gone downhill. The shrimp used in their upside down shrimp was overcooked and leathery. And krab used in their krab nigiri tasted funny. None of the food tasted very fresh. When we mentioned our experience to the manager when leaving he didn't seem concerned. Time to find a new sushi place.

My wife and I have eaten sushi around the U.S. and I have eaten sushi in many countries including Japan.....We have eaten at quite a few places here in Utah and heard about this place from some friends, so we tried it out..... 1st - The overall appearance of the place is not bad once you are inside of the restaurant, it is located in a shopping center in a "ok" area of SLC. 2nd - We got seated right away, so no problems there 3rd - We decided on the all you can eat sushi for lunch, and ordered our two young childrens typical sushi order (bowl of rice, crab meat by itself in a bowl and soy beans). We order some rolls, regular sushi 4th - They bring the bowl of rice and what looked like a california roll in a bowl, which is NOT what we asked for, but oh well...it was something for the kids to eat. 5th - The waitress came back over and said that we could not order any of the deluxe items on the checklist she provided us for lunch and could only order the basic items, which does not leave much to order for people that enjoy a variety of sushi items, but again we went with the punches. 6th - The overall quality of the fish was average, the Salmon was "different" and it took quite a bit of ice tea to wash most of it down. 7th - Final conclusion, I would only recommend this place to people that don't care what they eat and want a lot of it for a reasonable price. That is the basic premise. For those that want quality, variety and a good experience there are plenty of other places in Utah that can give you much more for the money.

This place almost ruined Sushi for me, and I love Sushi. First and most important, fish was disgusting. It tasted old and very fishy, second, it's not that great of a deal. I mean if your a sumo wrestler who has no taste buds this is the right place for you, otherwise go to the many other fine Sushi places in SLC.

Their focus is on value and service. Quality food at a great price. Having been back four times total the experience has been consistently delicious. Their caterpillar has been consistently better than at other (ala carte only) places I frequent. All in all, nothing but good mojo at simply sushi. When I feel like spending more than 5-10 bucks on food this place always lures me back! Update: After going every other week or more since initial review, I must now also make some recommendations. Must try- unagi hand roll (eel, avo, cucumber), florida hand roll (spicy tuna, spicy crab, avo), spicy upside down shrimp nigiri which is a split shrimp with the rice inbetween, and spicy crab on top of that, philly roll with salmon and cream cheese. also, all the nigiri is very very good, i always get 2 pairs of snapper, yellowtail, and salmon. the chef even agreed to whip up a mango tango hand roll for me at lunch the other day, it was crazy delicious as a finisher to my meal.

Simply Sushi is a great option for affordable sushi. They have an all-you-can-eat option for $15 for lunch and $20 for dinner. The location in West Jordan is MUCH better than the one downtown. In West Jordan, the sushi-maker-guy was really engaging and literally kept putting sushi in front of us. I don't think I have ever walked out of a restaurant so full before. Compared to the other sushi places that I have been to, Simply Sushi tends to put much more rice in their rolls, but I guess that's the downside of going to an all-you-can-eat place. I've had better, but Simply Sushi is hands down the most affordable option for decent sushi.

This place is CRAP! The sushi, MANAGEMENT & everything else in between. My sister in law brought me here since it's supposedly one of the decent sushi places in Utah, & from the minute we walked in it was all bad. The waiter was an idiot & didn't have a clue, forgot a few things that we ordered & pretty much disappeared after taking our order. No check ins to see if we were ok - or needed water so we started calling out to some random waitress who was rude - & ended up being our server since the other guy got lost. She was very short - brought the rolls in at random times & pretty much had to be called out for since she was always walking by. She had an attitude & my appetite pretty much vanished since the service was horrible as shit. The rolls were alright - nothing special to write home about. Icing on the cake was when we were paying. I kid you not, it took about 15 minutes to stand there while the idiot waiter & dumb girl who happened to be the MANAGER tried to figure out the bill. Anyway, long story short - won't be coming here ever again! Waste of time to drive out in the cold anyway. Had I known my ass would have just got McDonald's by the house. Annoyingly bad experience!

Hands down, worst sushi I have ever eatten. Rice was horrid. Grocery store sushi looks like creme de la creme compared to this rubbish. Ordered a fried roll, the chef put in the order, and someone instantly brought it out from back. It was hard and weird and cold. Please please do not be lured by the cheap price for all you can eat, you don't even get that!

I am not a sushi snob. In general, I like my sushi good tasting and usually cooked. I am not a huge fan of raw fish. For the price, this is the best sushi that you can find in Utah. I have eaten at both locations. I would recommend that you sit at the bar. You have much faster service that way and you can see them make the rolls in front of you. I personally prefer the lunch menu over the dinner menu. I don't like the "fancier" sushi offered for dinner.

One of the only all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants in the city. This isn't the best sushi in the city, but it's really good for the price. I recommend the West Jordan location over the downtown location, which needs to work on it's service.

While visiting the missus in Zion last month, she finally yielded to my pleading to finagle some fugu, and after conferring with a couple local sushi fiends, we decided to give Simply Sushi a try. Sushi is one of few foods that makes me want to put my 'all' back into 'all you can eat', and this place provides just that: as long as you'll eat it, they'll make it, and it will only put you back $15 a person ($12 at lunchtime). Just make sure you eat what you ordered! This 'eat it or it costs extra' policy proved potentially fatal to your humble narrator, since I'd decided to snack on a burger and fries a mere three hours before attending. Because my sushi sense tingling before our food was even delivered, I knew that their rolls would have to be up to snuff in order for me to finish the banquet I'd just ordered. Fortunately, I got by with a little help from my friends, and found the cuts to be surprisingly delectable. Fit for a buffet...mayyybe a banquet. Let's face facts: how many 'all you can eat' meals would rank in your all-time top 5 for taste? It may not be the catch of the day, but the fare at Simply Sushi is nothing to sneeze at, either. The misses seemed to find her first sushi experience pleasant, while the gentlemen in the party gorged themselves on unfried fish. My only concern: wasabi and ginger on /request/? Come again, service san? Speaking of service, even though we jaunted in a mere hour before close on a Sunday evening, we found the waitstaff to be very pleasant and attentive (partly due to the fact that we doubled their patronage for the night). They kept the drinks coming, and the chefs promptly prepared our sushi barge (shy of a dozen six-piece rolls between the four of us). The stripmall location and run-of-the-rice-mill wall decorations don't offer much in the way of ambiance, but Simply Sushi prides themselves on value and service, not luxury, and are not found wanting. While it may not be the classiest sushi joint in town, for starving students, frenzied families, or anyone else who's looking for tasty fish at a great price, Simply Sushi is simply superb. Just make sure you bring your appetite: they're serious about that 'eat what you order' business!

They recently hired a new sushi chef and it only took twenty minutes to get our rolls instead of 45. They also are revamping their menu according to our waitress. Keep improving!

We sat at the bar and got special treatment from the man behind the counter making all of this fine sushi. We had some of this and some of that, but the real treat is when he started making us signature rolls that were not on the menu. I wish I remember his name, but he was a very pleasant guy and super patient with my friend and I who were devouring rolls like there was no tomorrow. The service was attentive and the waitress even laughed at my "I didnt like my meal, even though I finished every single drop" comments. I would definitely go back and probably will next time I am in the area.

Wow, what can I say..... the sushi was pretty assembly line sushi and really didn't taste that great. Basically if you're super hungry and want to fill up on quantity (all-you-can-eat) but you don't care much about quality then this is the place for you. I probably would have given it three stars if it was just the food I was considering but I can only go with two stars because of the service. The first server that greeted us and took our initial order was friendly and attentive. Then we watched out the window as he left for the day and then we seemed to have gotten forgotten about. When we ordered a last couple rolls and waited and waited and even noticed a plate of rolls just sitting up at the "order up" spot and then after 7-8 minutes that plate was finally brought to us I was a bit annoyed. This was about 5:00 and it was not very busy especially considering the number of servers hanging around. I highly doubt we will be back. I hope the owner of the place reads these reviews and realizes that the service in the West Jordan location definitely stands in need of improvement.

Is semi inexpensive but the sushi is plain and disappointing. Tried it a couple times and the service was slow both times. I like the idea of all you can eat but this was not worth it..

I went to Simply Sushi with about 12 of my friends. We probably tried every roll on the menu. Now, I'm not the biggest sushi lover (I don't like cream cheese or spicy mayo), but my favorite roll by far was the San Francisco roll. They have a roll for everyone. Try it.

Wasn't impressed Ive always been hesitant about these places that do Sushi in bulk. I got a few different rolls the only ones I remember were Cali, Playboy, and I think it was Dragon roll. The fish was was really fishy Im pretty sure when fish tastes like that its not fresh. None the less it was OK for a Tuesday night and too lazy to make dinner, but I you get what you pay for ...

It's been a while for me to have sushi. Me and my boyfriend went to Simply Sushi this evening. Oh Lord, I gotta give it a shout out here in yelp!!! It was pretty empty this evening, but I mean, I like it better because of the quietness and most of the time you would get better service. We were seated very quickly, and our sushi chef, Meng was very friendly. I asked him what we should start with, and he said "ok, just trust me!" And he made us some Spicy Upside Down Shrimp...and gosh...it was incredible! I've never had something so delicious in Utah sushi restaurant. And then our waitress, unfortunately I forgot her name, introduced couple different things to us. We had the Scallop Volcano next. It had quite a lot of sauce on top. At first I thought my boyfriend would not eat it because he usually does not like sauce too much. Well, he ate one piece and he thought it was not bad. Next we had the Firey Fire Craker. I have to say, the Firey Fire Cracker is one of the best sushi I've ever had in my life. If you like spicy food, you should order it. It has jalapeno and some other spices in it. Chef Meng asked me while he was preparing it "do you like spicy food?" Oh OF COURSE!!! he then added some extra spices in it. And that dish was like heaven. The combination of tuna, the jalapeno, and some other spices that I couldn't tell what they were....I'm telling you, it was good!!! I'll definitely go back to Simply Sushi, but only for Chef Meng's sushi =)

I visited their new location in Salt Lake City (180 West 400 South). I must say that it's my first time eating at a Simply Sushi restaurant. But I'm really picky about my sushi and although my visit was satisfactory, I probably won't go back for a while. They provide two options for you. The first option, you can just order whatever rolls you want and pay the price it says on the menu, just like any other restaurant. The second option, you can either pay $14.95 (before 4pm) or $19.95 (after 4pm) to order and eat all the sushi you want. Sounds like a great deal, right? Honestly, it's about the same. If you're a moderate eater like me, you'll get full off 2 to 3 rolls. The only issue is, their sushi isn't that great. It doesn't wow me or provide that extra something that I need. Be careful to not order more than you can eat, because they will make you take home your sushi if you leave a lot behind and charge you the ala carte price for it. The service is great though. My server was very attentive, I'm not sure if it was because the restaurant was empty when I came in, but nonetheless, I have to give them credit for it. They have big screen TVs, which was showing a hilarious Japanese show that kept us entertained while we were waiting for our food. If you're a massive eater and you're looking for a great save, this restaurant would probably satisfy your needs. In addition, if you're not picky about the taste of your sushi, consider stopping by before 4 o'clock and paying for the all-you-can eat price.

What the fuck just happen? It's been a while since I felt so inclined to leave a 1 Star review. In fact I try to avoid it if I've had good experiences with a business in the past, but this is just.... Wow! Let's start at the beginning and work our way through the awfulness that was Simply Sushi on a Saturday night. It was packed, should be a good sign right? Wrong. It was a red flag that the possibility of shit hitting the fan was high. Like code red status. My friend went ahead to get a table, so by the time I arrived with another two of our friends, all was well and no wait for me. They sat us at an 8 person table which turned out to be unnecessary for the 4 of us and we indicated this to the 50 something grey hair authority to which he responded "That was a good choice." (Insert evil laughter)... He obviously couldn't tell that he was speaking to a customer that was not only judging every move he made - but was eager to chronicle the train wreck from start to finish. First rude encounter - Check. Then my friend and I wait for water. Party foul but not a deal breaker. Then we wait for food. Then we wait for acknowledgement. Tension is rising because the server doesn't fake any kind of politeness until halfway through the meal when my famed German attitude starts to make an appearance. So we're an hour and 40 minutes in at this point which was not awful because we were enjoying each other's company and catching up yadda yadda. My friend's husband is starting to get impatient and I can tell he wants to leave and the social interaction has expired..... But the server is MIA... For a while... He's been MIA for about 15 minutes... Finally a server comes to check on us and we ask for the check to which he scurries off diligently to track it down. He comes back to explain that our server has left and he has no idea what we ordered. Hmmm. He tries to be funny about it.. I guess. And we make some comment about who it was that was serving us and he says "Yeah he really pulled a Dick move." Um excuse me? I know I have tattoos and piercings (and curse like a sailor) but don't ever talk to me or any other customer with such disrespectful language. ........... This is where I laughed it off and tried to explain the situation a little more to which he responds "Yeah to be honest I really don't even care." ........... Holy shit. We grab the check, awkwardly wait in line to get back up to the Conductor of this derailed train heading for a cliff - the very same that supplied the initial rude encounter. I briefly go to explain that we need separate checks and he puts his hand up to stop me and says (direct quote/word for word) : "I'm smart enough to figure it out, how much do you want to pay" with the sourest face I've been given in a long time. He grabbed my card, ran through the machine, violently threw it back down with a pen for me to sign. How repugnant. Our first server burst out moments later with a scowl and glanced at us with anything but fondness. I can't conjure any reason for this experience and I won't even tell you if the food was good or not. I just won't lie and say it was bad. But I should tell you that this place is not worth the time of day. Don't spend your money here. There's far better places in SLC for sushi, and none of them will treat you this way. The fact that this happened is proof that this restaurant should not be in business. Customers slip through the cracks, I get it. But to have every member of your staff be down right mean including yourself? Don't be a business owner, customer service is obviously not for you.

As much as I love simply sushi our waiter didn't make our visit very welcoming. He came to our table only when we were seated then when we were finished with our first order he never came back not to ask if we needed anything else such as refills or if we needed another slip the waiters name was Rambo. Not very friendly.

For a non sushi lover, this place is great. I had the Buddha roll and it was really good. I also had a bite of the King Kong and I liked that as well. The place is pretty small so and it's located in a popular little strip mall so you may have to wait. But it was good.

So I tried this place again. The service keeps getting worse. It's like Im in a car and going down hill with no brakes. It's just dropping off. I even Spoke with I think he was the manager and he ask how is everything and we told him that we are not happy, the service is not good. And nothing Just hope they change soon.

Two words: food poisoning. The food didn't taste right, the service was meh, and the manager was an ass. Screw "all you can eat" and go to a high rated, clean, top quality sushi restaurant.

I was hesitant to try this place because of the phrase all-you-can-eat sushi. I ended up spending $50 for dinner doing the all you can eat. Got about 5 specialty rolls and some edimame. Overall the sushi was alright.. Somewhat average but not bad. I sat at the bar and the chef behind the counter served us pretty well. Very friendly. But this place isn't the best place around for just sushi. Hardly got money's worth for the sushi rolls which we had about 5. The thing that should be clear if you're planning on doing the all you can eat deal. At the lunch times (before 4 pm) you can only order off the front of the menu. Which means 95% of the specialty rolls are off limits. So the best chance you have with getting a better experience is just commit and pay for the dinner timed all you can eat. Also, with the All-You-Can-Eat deal, the only thing they require is for you to finish the rice off the roll if you happen to not like the roll you chose. Before ordering another. They have a decent selection and would maybe give this place a nod if you're planning on trying a roll you may have been skeptical about from some other sushi bar. It's very close to my home so if I am really craving sushi and something is keeping me from going a few miles more to Sushi Express then I'll stop here again.

I really like Simply Sushi. The chefs are really great and the service is always great. My only problem is that the manager at this location can be very rude and hostile. His name is Jordan. For this reason we tend to visit the one downtown more often.

We have a generally good experience everytime we go here. It's not the greatest sushi in town, but it's a good value for the price, and satisfies the craving without spending 100+ dollars for two people. Service is decent, chef's have always been friendly.

(3)
Anita C.
(4)
Ahmad K.
This place is great because they have unlimited sushi. But their rice proportions are huge and they demand that you actually eat the rice and then they'll bring you more. If you just want to be a fatass and gorge, this will do. But if you're going to be sushi connoisseur and want quality, stay away

Sushi was pretty good, service was BAD. Waitress was grouchy and we had to ask multiple times for refills.

Nigiri sushi dry and tasted old. Fish not great. Price very overpriced. Will not recommend anyone eating here. I know I will not be coming back, not really sure why I agreed to come here in the first place.... I set myself up for disappointment.

I really like Simply Sushi. The chefs are really great and the service is always great. My only problem is that the manager at this location can be very rude and hostile. His name is Jordan. For this reason we tend to visit the one downtown more often.

Ever.

Great sushi value! I ate sushi until i couldnt eat it any more. The "simply sushi " roll was my favorite, had a really nice sauce. I recomend this place for any sushi fan.

Upside down shrimp are AWESOME! Especially the spicy ones. Sit at the bar or the service is slow.

My friend ordered the "Simply Sushi handroll" and she said that it was good. I ordered sushi that arrived covered in "sweet sauce" that looked almost pornographic and either way unappetizing. The menu is extremely limited. Not worth the visit.

One of the only all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants in the city. This isn't the best sushi in the city, but it's really good for the price. I recommend the West Jordan location over the downtown location, which needs to work on it's service.

(3)Anita C.
(4)Ahmad K.
This place is great because they have unlimited sushi. But their rice proportions are huge and they demand that you actually eat the rice and then they'll bring you more. If you just want to be a fatass and gorge, this will do. But if you're going to be sushi connoisseur and want quality, stay away
(3)John C.
(3)Greg K.
(4)Annette V.
(3)Brian P.
The downward trend has probably started. The good sushi chefs are gone. And the man at the cash register gives off a creepy vibe. When sitting at the bar the employees have no respect for personal space and stand behind you the whole time you're eating. I'll give this place another shot but if they drop again I'm done.
(3)Victoria O.
(1)John G.
(5)Mylan D.
(3)Brian M.
They use the same two sauces one EVERY piece of sushi which covers up any distinction between flavors. Irish roll was interesting but other than that a very "meh" assortment.
(2)Tina S.
(5)Felipe Z.
(4)Karli P.
(4)Tiffani R.
The food was good. The service was good. Give the scallop volcano roll and the sunset roll a try, they were my favorite!
(4)Che B.
Sushi was pretty good, service was BAD. Waitress was grouchy and we had to ask multiple times for refills.
(2)Laura M.
(3)Paul B.

(4)Shannon E.
I don't know how this place has less than 5 stars! They were so and fast. Best sushi we have had so far. Can't wait to to come back. Our serve brad was so helpful! Loved everything. Will def do the all you can eat sushi next time!
(5)Victoria V.

(2)Michelle K.
Ever.
(1)Xinmiao L.
Cheap and good sushi. Cant miss that. It is interesting that they put Mango in sushi. It makes taste refreshing. Try Crazy California Roll for something cheap and delicious. The Sushi chefs and the servers are very friendly and like to crack couple jokes with you
(4)Blake B.
(3)Wyatt W.
(3)Crystal L.
(1)Rebbecca S.
My friend ordered the "Simply Sushi handroll" and she said that it was good. I ordered sushi that arrived covered in "sweet sauce" that looked almost pornographic and either way unappetizing. The menu is extremely limited. Not worth the visit.
(2)Tim H.

(2)Andrew P.
We have a generally good experience everytime we go here. It's not the greatest sushi in town, but it's a good value for the price, and satisfies the craving without spending 100+ dollars for two people. Service is decent, chef's have always been friendly.
(4)Heather M.
(3)David R.
(3)Greg N.
(3)Christian V.
(4)John L.
(4)Rod S.
I use to go all the time for lunch. However the all you can eat lunch menu has shrunk and the price went up. It's not the price that bothers me but the menu. Bring back unagi on the lunch all you can eat menu and I'll come back.
(2)Jason F.
(2)Star P.
(4)Jeremy W.
(2)Jesse F.
(2)Preston W.
(1)Ian C.
(4)Jenna W.
(3)Victoria M.
(1)Jessica M.
(1)J J.
(4)Jessica P.

(4)Anon A.
They recently hired a new sushi chef and it only took twenty minutes to get our rolls instead of 45. They also are revamping their menu according to our waitress. Keep improving!
(3)Barrett C.
(4)Emily J.

Try it.
(4)Chris C.

(3)Matt F.
Great sushi value! I ate sushi until i couldnt eat it any more. The "simply sushi " roll was my favorite, had a really nice sauce. I recomend this place for any sushi fan.
(3)Isaac S.
Upside down shrimp are AWESOME! Especially the spicy ones. Sit at the bar or the service is slow.

(1)Tiane S.
As much as I love simply sushi our waiter didn't make our visit very welcoming. He came to our table only when we were seated then when we were finished with our first order he never came back not to ask if we needed anything else such as refills or if we needed another slip the waiters name was Rambo. Not very friendly.
(2)Ryan C.
For a non sushi lover, this place is great. I had the Buddha roll and it was really good. I also had a bite of the King Kong and I liked that as well. The place is pretty small so and it's located in a popular little strip mall so you may have to wait. But it was good.
(4)Torrey W.
So I tried this place again. The service keeps getting worse. It's like Im in a car and going down hill with no brakes. It's just dropping off. I even Spoke with I think he was the manager and he ask how is everything and we told him that we are not happy, the service is not good. And nothing Just hope they change soon.
(1)Nick G.
Safe bet that you will find something you like here. My wife and I go here all the time.
(4)Shelby S.
Two words: food poisoning. The food didn't taste right, the service was meh, and the manager was an ass. Screw "all you can eat" and go to a high rated, clean, top quality sushi restaurant.
(1)Andre' B.
(3)John T.
Nigiri sushi dry and tasted old. Fish not great. Price very overpriced. Will not recommend anyone eating here. I know I will not be coming back, not really sure why I agreed to come here in the first place.... I set myself up for disappointment.
(1)Chris A.
I really like Simply Sushi. The chefs are really great and the service is always great. My only problem is that the manager at this location can be very rude and hostile. His name is Jordan. For this reason we tend to visit the one downtown more often.
(3)Xinmiao L.
Cheap and good sushi. Cant miss that. It is interesting that they put Mango in sushi. It makes taste refreshing. Try Crazy California Roll for something cheap and delicious. The Sushi chefs and the servers are very friendly and like to crack couple jokes with you
(4)Blake B.
(3)Jeremy W.
(2)Andrew P.
We have a generally good experience everytime we go here. It's not the greatest sushi in town, but it's a good value for the price, and satisfies the craving without spending 100+ dollars for two people. Service is decent, chef's have always been friendly.
(4)Jesse F.
(2)Kedy S.
(4)Peter F.
(3)Anita C.
(4)Ahmad K.
This place is great because they have unlimited sushi. But their rice proportions are huge and they demand that you actually eat the rice and then they'll bring you more. If you just want to be a fatass and gorge, this will do. But if you're going to be sushi connoisseur and want quality, stay away
(3)Victoria O.
(1)Christian V.
(4)John L.
(4)Rod S.
I use to go all the time for lunch. However the all you can eat lunch menu has shrunk and the price went up. It's not the price that bothers me but the menu. Bring back unagi on the lunch all you can eat menu and I'll come back.
(2)Jenna W.
(3)Che B.
Sushi was pretty good, service was BAD. Waitress was grouchy and we had to ask multiple times for refills.
(2)Preston W.
(1)Ian C.
(4)Laura M.
(3)John T.

(4)Anon A.
They recently hired a new sushi chef and it only took twenty minutes to get our rolls instead of 45. They also are revamping their menu according to our waitress. Keep improving!
(3)Barrett C.
(4)Emily J.

Try it.
(4)Chris C.
Wasn't impressed Ive always been hesitant about these places that do Sushi in bulk. I got a few different rolls the only ones I remember were Cali, Playboy, and I think it was Dragon roll.
(5)Karli P.
(4)Mylan D.
(3)Brian M.
They use the same two sauces one EVERY piece of sushi which covers up any distinction between flavors. Irish roll was interesting but other than that a very "meh" assortment.
(2)Tina S.
(5)Felipe Z.
(4)Annie L.

(4)Brian S.
It's been several months since my last visit. A few new items on the menu and newer faces to the employees and the sushi is still great. I had a good meal and received good service despite the friday evening rush. I still stand by my 4 stars and really enjoy this place.
(4)Shannon E.
I don't know how this place has less than 5 stars! They were so and fast. Best sushi we have had so far. Can't wait to to come back. Our serve brad was so helpful! Loved everything. Will def do the all you can eat sushi next time!
(5)John C.

(4)Annette V.
(3)Brian P.
The downward trend has probably started. The good sushi chefs are gone. And the man at the cash register gives off a creepy vibe. When sitting at the bar the employees have no respect for personal space and stand behind you the whole time you're eating. I'll give this place another shot but if they drop again I'm done.

All in all, it was a nice experience and I'll be coming back
(4)Victoria V.

(2)Bryan C.
(3)Priscilla K.
(2)Nick G.
Safe bet that you will find something you like here. My wife and I go here all the time.
(4)Tiane S.
(1)Shelby S.
Two words: food poisoning. The food didn't taste right, the service was meh, and the manager was an ass. Screw "all you can eat" and go to a high rated, clean, top quality sushi restaurant.
(1)Tiffani R.
The food was good. The service was good. Give the scallop volcano roll and the sunset roll a try, they were my favorite!
(4)Andre' B.
(3)Andy D.
(5)Wyatt W.
(3)Jason F.
(2)Jean W.
(2)David R.
(3)Greg N.
(3)Heather M.
(3)Star P.
(4)Michelle K.
Ever.
(1)Crystal L.
(1)Tim H.
(2)Victoria M.
(1)Jessica M.
(1)J J.
(4)Travis B.
